Been waiting for today for a long time, approx 14 months... Second appointment at Charing Cross.
Was a little sceptical as was with James Barrett and had heard many things about him, however, what a nice bloke. 'nice' doesn't actually cover it, he has such a welcoming feel, great sense of humour and shared interested of Literature and general knowledge.
The appointment was at 10:45am, a little early when its at least a 2 and a half hours drive from Staffordshire, so we decided to come down last night and stay in a B&B. (we being me and mum).
So the appointment couldn't have gone any better. Asked me some questions and asked what I wanted out of the appointment which was a referral for lower surgery, which was granted. He also said there was no need for me to need to come back to the clinic as there is nothing else they can do for me. Just waiting now upon a letter and get the ball rolling for the next and final step of this journey.
Was also nice to spend some quality time with mum as I'm always so busy doing Uni work we don't have the chance to sit and chat as much as we would like.
All in all a very worthwhile trip to London.
